About Gotcha Covered

In June of 2009, V2K took over operations of the Gotcha Covered franchise system in what was the marriage of two industry powerhouses. Each company has extensive experience in the custom window treatment industry, and each brought important assets into the relationship. All new franchises from the merged operations will operate under the Gotcha Covered name, and (along with existing V2K franchisees) will have exclusive access to V2K's Decor Creator design software.

About V2K
In 1982 the company began developing software programs designed to standardize procedures and eliminate the majority of the repetitive work associated with the sale and manufacturing of window covering products. The first software program developed was offered for sale at a national trade show in 1984 under the name of Drapery Data Corporation.

By 1989 the enhancements in visual graphics that had occurred in the computer industry prompted the addition of a graphic presentation to the calculation processes, and in December 1993, Pictures and Prices Corporation was formed as a vehicle to license the software.

V2K was incorporated as a Colorado, Subchapter S Corporation in July 1996 to offer licenses to use the Pictures and Prices software, and began testing the franchise model in March 1997. The assets of Pictures and Prices Corporation were transferred to V2K in 1999.

In May 2001 Vic Yosha was brought in as an investor and as the President of the company. His $500,000 investment as well as money raised from outside sources helped formally launch the franchise model in late 2001.

Franchising is the fastest growing segment of the ever expanding small businesses in the US. V2K Home Décor and More was recognized in 2006 by Entrepreneur Magazine as #50 best home-based franchise in the US. It has consistently been in the top 10 franchisors marketed by many of the leading franchise brokers.

About Gotcha Covered
In 1995 with a passion for excellence Debi and Mike Rose dreamed of the next good business opportunity, after selling a successful business they had founded and operated for nearly 18 years. The Roses were mindful of the practical realities of running a successful business, and that was to consistently provide the best possible experience for the customer. With this in mind, they looked for a customer service business where they could apply their many years of experience, however it had to be a business that wouldn't require inventory, heavy overhead, or a lot of employees and most importantly they dreamed of a business that wouldn't require much in accounts receivables. They founded Gotcha Covered, a dream come true!

With no business coach in the window coverings industry, the Rose's learned through trial and error. Always looking for and identifying better more efficient methods of conducting business, Debi and Mike developed a system for marketing and selling window coverings that quickly numbered them among the nation's top producers in the industry. In addition to offering unparallel customer service the Rose's insisted in providing customers only the best window covering products available and that required special vendor relationships with Hunter Douglas, Kirsch/Levolor, Graber and Prestige Plantation Shutters.
