Meet Our Team

Hello! I am Chris Groom, owner of Gotcha Covered of Olathe. I have lived in the Kansas City area since 2004 and specifically in Johnson County since 2014. My family and I love the small-town feel and the down-to-earth people we get to interact with on a daily basis.

After years of work in consultation and sales, I decided I wanted a career that I could really make my own. My wife and I have always loved remodeling the houses we have lived in to make them feel more personable and specific to our own style. We have done a nearly-full remodel of our last two homes in the past 5 years, and we are getting ready to remodel much of our new house.

My wife, Stephanie, and I have a beautiful young daughter who keeps us very busy! We enjoy supporting local, small businesses and restaurants in and around Olathe. We love finding new places for authentic BBQ which, in our opinion, is hands-down the best in the country! We are also HUGE KC Chiefs and Royals fans!

When we are not out and about, Steph loves to cook and I love to grill. As a family, we are avid park-goers and we love to get outdoors as often as possible. And when I can get away, you might just find me out on the golf course!
