A year after graduating high school in Vancouver, BC I began working for a small window coverings company where I trained under the owner for 4 years. Throughout this period I learned how to install shutters, different kinds of blinds and shades, as well as drapery. Also during this time the business grew to 8 employees under the guidance of that owner. After 4 years I decided to take what I had learned not only about window treatments, but also how to grow a business and start out on my own.

My passion for attention to detail, solving problems nobody else could, and maintaining a high quality of work, has led to establishing long lasting working relationships with my customers and the designers I work with. This has been evident in the growth of my business over the 7 years it operated in Canada.

After those 7 years my wife, who is originally from Bend Oregon, and I decided to move to the Nashville Tennessee area to be closer to her family. Excited about living in a new country and city, I was even more excited at the challenge of starting another business in a city full of growth and opportunity. I look forward to bringing my craft to this part of the country, and to establish new working relationships with the friendly residents of Middle Tennessee!

Hello! I am Dan Grossman, Owner of Gotcha Covered of Cool Springs! I have been a proud resident of Brentwood, Tennessee since 2014. My wife, Karen, and I love raising our family here. Over the years we have met so many wonderful people. We’ve watched this community thrive and we’re thrilled to contribute to its growth by bringing our family business here.

I’m an honest, hardworking, humble, loving and caring person. Everything I do professionally is inspired and motivated to provide for my family and add value to my community. For seven years, I have been fortunate to help the Nashville Symphony grow its audience, expand its reach and make a cultural and inspirational impact on the people of Music City.

At my heart, I have always had a passion for local business ownership. So, when the opportunity arrived to launch here in Middle Tennessee, I knew it was the right move because Gotcha Covered’s core values -- appreciation, respect, integrity, quality and serving others -- completely align with mine.
