David and Karen Esuka, a dynamic husband-and-wife team, are the proud owners of Gotcha Covered of Clayton. Originally from Cameroon, both David and Karen bring a rich cultural background and a shared passion for design and entrepreneurship to their business. David grew up in Cameroon, while Karen split her formative years between Cameroon and the U.S. The couple has lived in North Carolina for the past three years.

With strong professional backgrounds—David as a Senior Database Administrator and Karen as an IT Scrum Master and Project Manager—they decided to pursue their long-held dream of owning a business together. Their journey led them to Gotcha Covered, a franchise that not only aligned with their love for home decor but also offered the flexibility and resources they were seeking.

Karen, who has previously launched small online businesses, found Gotcha Covered to be the perfect match for her creative spirit and entrepreneurial drive. David saw the opportunity as a path toward financial independence and a chance to bring joy to clients by transforming their living spaces.

Their shared goal is to build a successful business that provides financial freedom, quality family time, and the ability to travel—while making a positive impact in their community. Outside of work, David enjoys playing soccer and traveling, while Karen finds joy in singing, decorating, content creation, shopping, and exploring new places.

Together, David and Karen combine their talents, experience, and passion to offer personalized window treatment solutions with warmth, professionalism, and heart.
