Husband-and-wife team Luis Meza and Andrea Bustillo are the proud owners of Gotcha Covered of Miami Gardens. Together, they combine deep expertise in construction, project management, and international relations with a shared passion for home improvement and family-driven entrepreneurship.
Originally from Colombia, Luis was born in Valledupar and spent 20 years in Bogotá, where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering. He worked in both public and private sectors before launching his own construction business, gaining hands-on experience in building and managing residential and commercial projects. His technical knowledge and entrepreneurial drive laid the foundation for expanding into the U.S. market.
Andrea, born and raised in Cartagena, Colombia, brings a strong academic and professional background to the partnership. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in International Political Science. Her career in international cooperation and project management has equipped her with strategic, organizational, and leadership skills that perfectly complement their business operations.
After relocating to Florida, the couple sought to diversify their construction background while staying connected to the industry they love. Gotcha Covered stood out for its family-focused values, creative opportunities, and meaningful mission—helping people transform their homes into personal sanctuaries.
Their shared goal with Gotcha Covered is to help clients realize their home improvement dreams while building a successful, family-run business that prioritizes relationships, quality, and growth. In their free time, Luis and Andrea enjoy working out, watching movies, and spending quality time with their family.
