A Note from Tiffany

Home has always been my favorite place in the world.

I was raised in the Northern Neck of Virginia, a small coastal community about two hours north of Hampton Roads, and nearly 20 years ago I traded one saltwater town for another when I made Hampton Roads home.

As a wife, mom, and someone who has worked from home since 2019, I’ve come to believe our spaces impact so much more than just how a home looks. They impact how we rest, connect, gather, and show up in our everyday lives. Creating a home that feels comfortable, beautiful, functional, and peaceful has always been incredibly important to me.

My husband and I joke that I love the idea of traveling more than the actual act of traveling because no matter where we go, I usually start counting down the days until we get to come back home. That’s how much I love it here.

That love of home is a huge part of why I opened Gotcha Covered. I love helping people create spaces that feel uniquely theirs while making the process feel easy, supportive, and personal from start to finish. At the heart of it all, I want people to feel genuinely cared for when they work with us. I believe businesses can grow successfully without losing their humanity, and that belief guides everything we do.

The Heart Behind It All

Behind most business owners are the real heroes…the families who support the long nights, the big dreams, the endless brainstorming sessions, and the stressful days that come with building something meaningful.

My husband, Michael, and our girls, Layla and Lily, are the heart behind everything I do. This business was built with our family in mind and inspired by the deep love we have for home and the life we’ve created within ours. Home has always been the place where we feel most connected, grounded, comfortable, and ourselves, and it’s our hope to help other families create that same feeling in their own spaces.

Entrepreneurship often asks a lot from the people closest to us, and I’m endlessly grateful for the grace, encouragement, patience, and love they give along the way. At the end of the day, they are the reason all of this matters most.

The Real Supervisors

No family introduction would be complete without mentioning our dogs, Peanut and Snow, who fully believe every couch, sunny window, and cozy corner of the house was designed specifically for them.

One of the things we value most is creating spaces that are not only beautiful, but truly lived in. Spaces that can hold busy mornings, family movie nights, kids, pets, laughter, messes, and all the little moments in between. We believe the best homes are the ones that feel both functional and deeply personal, and that belief shapes the way we approach every space we help create.
