Mercedes Garcia Otegui has a life full of experience and expertise. She was an Industrial Designer with Marketing and Product Development experience in companies like 3M before opening her Gotcha Covered location. She has a Masters in Studio Arts, experience with interior design and flipping houses, and has even set out as an entrepreneur creating her own swimsuit line. Mercedes loves the flexibility of owning her own Gotcha Covered business, where she gets to use all of her previous experience and achieve a good work-life balance.

Mercedes enjoys making her own paintings and sculpture, reading, dancing, playing tennis, and traveling. She has lived all over including Australia and San Francisco, and chose to settle in Miami for the past 11 years. She fell in love with the diverse people and lifestyles of South Miami and loves that they live where most people vacation!

Mercedes loves that she gets to implement all of her knowledge in design and home services to help clients choose beautiful and practical solutions for their home. It is so fulfilling to help the people in the South Miami community make their house a home!
