Hello, I’m Gressa Schroeder, Owner of Gotcha Covered in the East metro area of Minnesota. Creative design has always been at the heart of my work. I started my window treatment business after fifteen successful years working as a Graphic Designer. When it was time to make a change, I chose to continue my career as a creative professional with Gotcha Covered because it allows me to work directly with clients for whom I know will appreciate the high quality of products I offer, enhanced by my seasoned design background. My style is to listen to your needs first, then provide product selections that are perfectly tailored for you and your space. I’m a business owner who loves to help others by combining personalized service with custom solutions that enhance your home.

When I'm not working, you'll find me spending time with our family of three adult children, hiking, running the trails in Woodbury, or traveling! I love being part of a community where I run into clients around town at the grocery store or a restaurant, and reconnecting to say hello again!

Kay brings over 30 years of experience in management roles in both the public and private sectors of businesses. Her superpower is managing all the details for our busy showroom, and best of all she does it with a generous smile and wonderful attitude! Kay keeps our Designers, Installers, Vendors, and Clients happy by coordinating all the complex details that it takes to deliver exceptional results.

When she’s not in the office, you will find Kay designing and crafting her own line of custom jewelry to adorn professional speakers, executives, or high profile women. She is also an avid volunteer with the St. Paul Winter Carnival and has served in various capacities with the organization.

Michael is a Master Certified Installer with Hunter Douglas, and has proven to be a customer favorite. His attention to detail and calm demeanor allow him to work with our most discerning customers. Michael is a wealth of knowledge with all things window coverings, from simple blinds, to complex powered shades, along with excellent drapery skills. A true student of the trade and often described as meticulous or particular, Michael's attention to detail is unmatched. Rest assured, your window treatments will be thoughtfully and safely installed.

Something fun: Not long ago Michael was a Team USA sponsored track and field athlete with Olympic aspirations, but years of recurring injuries forced him to prioritize his physical well-being and to seek the next passion in life. After a short time working in flooring and general construction, Michael narrowed his focus to installations. Michael and his wife enjoy spending time outdoors and improving their property with the goal of turning it into a hobby farm. For the time being the only animals they have are their two very spoiled and beloved cats.

Louie is a top notch installer, and an integral part of our team. Starting to help his mother in the workroom at the age of 15, he learned to sew, work with drapery pins and all of the traditional styles of drapery, and moved on to installing every type of window treatment that’s out on the market. In his 35+ years of experience, there is truly very little that Louie has not installed! From traditional draperies, to everyday blinds and shades, and even the more complex motorized solutions from our top vendors, Louie has installed it all. He leads our growing installation team, which includes training and coaching the assistant installers, providing an efficient and professional experience in your home.
