Amy Gaskey is the owner of Gotcha Covered Barrington—Palatine, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry across both residential and commercial projects. Throughout her career, Amy has developed a deep understanding of how thoughtful design choices can completely transform the way a space feels and functions.
With a lifelong passion for interior design and a keen eye for style, Amy found custom window treatments to be the perfect fit. Amy proudly operates the business alongside her daughter Ava, creating a mother—daughter team that blends decades of industry expertise with a fresh, modern perspective. When she’s not working with clients, Amy enjoys recharging through yoga, exploring new destinations through international travel, and spending time on the water boating.

Ava is a recent graduate of The University of Dayton with a degree in Public Relations. She brings creativity and a fresh, modern perspective to the custom window treatment industry. Having years of experience in the service industry, Ava truly loves building relationships with her clients offering a friendly and reliable hand to those in need. Ava's passion for fashion and design allows her creative vision to translate into any room or decor. Ava is detail-oriented and can help design spaces that are beautiful and functional. With an entrepreneurial mindset, Ava was inspired at the opportunity to work alongside her mother, Amy Gaskey, at Gotcha Covered.
