Hello! I am Bob Bouyea, owner of Gotcha Covered of the Columbia Area! I have loved watching our community continue to grow and develop over the years, and I am thrilled to bring my Gotcha Covered business to this area!
For almost 30 years, I worked as a journalist all over the country. I came to this beautiful area in 2008 to start a publication with the goal of helping businesses grow and connect with each other and I wrapped up my journalism career as publisher of the Columbia Regional Business Report. After years of experience helping other businesses develop, I had reached a point where I wanted to build my own business. Gotcha Covered was just that.
Gotcha Covered is a leader within the window treatment industry that gives me an opportunity to meet new people and help them find the perfect window treatment solutions for their homes and workplaces.
I firmly believe that the best asset you can have is to be a good listener. All of my years of experience have shown me how to listen first and then work to find the best solution.
While I have worked in the area since 2008, my wife and I moved to our community in 2014. We have two adult daughters with families of their own whom we love to visit whenever we can.
On the weekends, you may find us out at the farmers market in Downtown Columbia. We love trying new restaurants and supporting our local businesses. Lake Murray is another favorite spot for boating and fishing. We also enjoy hiking in the mountains of Update and Western Columbia. When staying closer to home, I enjoy spending my time in the garden.
