Window dressing comes natural to Nicole Layman, local owner of Gotcha Covered. After 25 years behind the chair designing hairstyles for clients, Nicole brings a similar passion to the art of window dressing. Nicole begins every in-home-consultation determining the needs of the client, identifying their style, and choosing the appropriate blinds, shades, drapes, or shutters that compliment their home and lifestyle. Nicole believes choosing window coverings should be stress free, fun, and available for every budget. A busy wife and mother of four, Nicole can either be found cheering on her kids at their sporting events, or perusing Pinterest looking for her next DIY project.

Laura developed a love for interior design as she worked with and watched her mom build her own interior design business. Working for 30 years in the field of Human Resources and Organizational Training and Development, Laura always had a dream in the back of her mind of one day working in the interior design field. In 2011 Laura embarked on a new journey... to continue her sister, Sara Frankl's legacy of Choose Joy…of changing the world! In 2016 Laura and her families dream came to a reality with the publishing of a book called Choose Joy Finding Hope and Purpose When Life Hurts. The book is a compilation of Sara Frankl’s writing from her blog. Today, Laura is president of the Choose Joy Sara Gitz Frankl Memorial foundation. Laura is a speaker and writer for Women of Faith as well as a certified John Maxwell speaker, trainer and coach. Laura’s dream of working in the design field also came true when her friend and co-owner, Nicole Layman, approached her with the idea of starting a window covering business! No matter your personal style, budget, or unique window treatment challenge, we’ll work directly with you to find the right solution for your home. How do we do it? By providing complimentary, in-home consultations to determine your window treatment needs and create a plan to take your dreams from an idea to a reality! Laura is married to her husband Jeff, the mother of 3 children (and their spouses) and grandmother of 6.
