Hello! We are Debby and Jay, owners of Gotcha Covered of Flagler County.

In 2019, we moved from South Florida up to Palm Coast bringing our multigeneration family with us. We love this community and have said many times that this move was the best decision we ever made.

We believe that the people are the best thing about living here. Over the years, this community has continued to grow and thrive and we are so excited to be a part of this growth by bringing our Gotcha Covered business to this area.

Debby has over twenty years of experience working in the home improvement industry. She loves interacting with people and helping them find the perfect solution to any household problem. When an opportunity came to start up a business, Debby was more than ready to walk away from her big box store and focus on something more personal.

In his early years, Jay was a captain in the Army Reserve. After resigning in 2000, he began a career in the medical field as a critical care nurse. When the pandemic hit, his nursing contract with the state took him away from home for the majority of the year. Jay has always wanted to have his own business and being away from home helped to solidify his resolve. The goal was to find something that would provide a little more flexibility and time at home with his family. Gotcha Covered was just that.

Together, we love meeting our clients throughout the coastal regions of South St. Johns, Flagler, and Volusia counties. We take great pride in getting to know their personalities and tastes in order to help them find the perfect window treatment solutions for their home or business.

On the weekends, you may find us out at the local farmer’s markets, visiting arts and craft shows, going to festivals and outdoor concerts. We love going out and supporting our local small businesses and restaurants.

We also enjoy traveling and taking long, scenic drives on the back of our motorcycle. One of our more recent adventures was a 7-day motorcycle ride along the Blue Ridge Parkway!

Our family would not be complete without our three beautiful dogs - an Australian Shepherd, a Golden Retriever, and a loveable little mutt! They love spending as much time as possible outside so that means many trips to the beach. While Debby could spend hours relaxing in the sun, she knows that only works with plenty of activities for the rest of the family and a cooler full of snacks. You might even spot Jay out flying his kite!
